Hello everyone. Mobile phones are very important part of our life and there are many advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones. Everyone including me and you are using smartphones everyday in our daily life but the problem is not ‘using mobile phones', it's the way we use it.

So, it's very important for everyone of us to know about the advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones and to use these devices smartly and accordingly because these devices can be very positive and very negative also if not used properly. So, let's discuss:

Advantages of Mobile Phones

1) Connecting to the world/ Communication

This is the basic purpose of a mobile phone which everyone of us know. Mobile phones are such a powerful and helpful tool that with the help of mobile phones we can communicate to anyone and in any part of the world whenever we wants to and that's a very amazing advantage of mobile phones.

2) Skill Learning

Now in the internet world you can search anything you need or you wants and that's why if you use mobile phones smartly and are willing to learn something from the web than you can definitely and very easily learn some skills which will help you in your career.

There are many success stories in which a person learned something from internet and maded a great career from himself by using that particular skill and you can also do that definitely if you are willing.

3) Sharing your knowledge/ Teaching

If you have any knowledge or skills than you can share these things to help others with the help of mobile phones. The way you can get information through internet, you can also provide informations and you can also earn money by giving your services.

4) Emergency and GPS Facility

Just imagine you wants to go to any place about which you don't know anything than what you have to do to get to that place and that too in time. Answer is that you have to use your mobile phone and search in Google maps and you will get there easily.

Mobile phones also helps you in any emergency situation to help you. Whenever you find yourselves in any problem you can communicate and Call for help by using your mobile phone.

It's also one of the biggest advantage of mobile phones that you can manage your time by setting reminders and getting notifications on time to help you finish a particular work on time.

You can also quickly get the answer of something that you wants by quick search and that will save your time and you can utilise that time in doing something valuable. In past without mobile phones every work was completed manually but now you can do transactions on single click.

Disadvantages of Mobile Phones

Now let's look at the negative effects of mobile phones because it's much more important for us to know about a problem to solve that problem and so that we can be aware of that. Let's discuss:

1) Decrease in Thinking capability

 Yes, if you are using smartphones very much , your brain starts to think in a fixed way and whenever you have Idol time you just starts using your smartphone which doesn't gives your mind the space to think creative or new.

The best thing of human that differentiates it from any other species is the thinking capability and it will be very dangerous if it gets effected. Don't always grab the content, try to use your brain and develop ideas also.

2) Addiction

There have been a lot of such problems of smartphones addiction in recent times and you all would have heard about that also. Overusing of smartphones will make you habitual of using these devices and it's really not a good sign of a human emotions being controlled by a smart device. Is it?

Just imagine you have brought a mobile phone because you wanted and now you are not using your phone instead it's your smartphone notifications that are controlling you. So, use smatphones according to your need.

3) Health Problems

 We all knows there are many types of radiation that comes out when we use any electric devices and mainly mobile phones because we have it very close to our body and that affects us badly in a invisible way.

It affects our body and brain also. And Overusing smartphones may disturb our daily routine and that also affects our health. Overusing smartphones causes skin and eyesight problems also.

4) Low communication skills

This is a very common and increasing problems with those who are Overusing smartphones because no one now a days communicate face to face as they are giving preference to social media and hence are communicating very less and that's affects our communication skills which is a very important part of everyone's life.

If you are overly dependent on social media to communicate than after sometime it will also reduce your joy of communicating to someone. So, go out and talk to everyone you wants by keeping mobile phone away for some time because it will be healthy and more fun.

5) Depression

 You all must have heard of this term but how Overusing mobile phones can lead a person to depression? Everyone using smartphones too much always stay active on the social media or the other things they are doing on smartphones and they try to search their happiness over there and whenever they didn't find anything according to their expectation they get depressed.

 The other reason is Overusing smartphones affects your brain functioning and after sometime you feels very bored and unhappy and it's the biggest disadvantage of Overusing smartphones. There are many other ways in which you can get depressed due to Overusing smartphones.

6) Concenteration problems

This is another disadvantage of mobile phones because whenever we are using mobile phones too much it makes us habitual and whenever we are doing any type of work we can't concentrate on that because we wants to check our smartphone after a particular time and couldn't concentrate on anything for long time.

There are two sides of everything and similarly there are advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones also. Mobile phones are very important, useful and magical device but you should know how to use it.

Overusing of everything is harmful and you would have noticed that in every disadvantages one term was common and that was Overusing. If you are using smartphones in a systematic way it's amazing and helpful but if you are not it can be dangerous.

Just try to create balance between using smartphones and other important things in your life so that you can live in the best way. Your life should be a mixture of more learning and entertainment. Smartphones are great but at the same time you should use it in a well enough way.
